I already know that original HDLoader does not circumvent the PS2's built-in region checking. So you cannot pop your import game into your PS2's drive from HDLoader and expect it to work unless you do the slide trick. I'm clumsy and uncoordinated enough that doing the slide trick is pretty much out of the question for me. I'm also not going to modchip my PS2, it's just not worth it anymore when HDLoader can run any game which finds its way onto the HDD. With original HDLoader you need to use HDL_dump or WinHIIP to put the import game on the HDD, once it's there HDLoader will happily boot and run the game. So, the question is, and I have not gotten anything resembling a definitive answer on this, can you install import games directly with HDAdvance?
